This third week of Eastertide message of the Risen Christ is one of repentance and forgiveness.

God has a message for the doubter in our lectionary readings this week…and it’s one that deals with the real enemy of faith: fear. Find out how genuine community, Scripture, and honesty make it easier for faith to flourish.

Last night at St Bartholomew’s we looked into the OT lessons of Abraham, Moses, and Ezekiel and the Gospel as a framework for the meaning of the vigil and renewing our baptismal vows.

 

This morning at St Francis, with the baptism of Nolan Rose, we recalled how the messages proclaimed by Sts. Peter, Paul, and Mary Magdalene were fulfilled in Christ and in us in the sacrament of baptism.
