On this Christ the King Sunday, the lectionary appoints Psalm 95 in order to give us an eternal perspective of unfettered joy, devotion to God, humble dependence on the Lord, and grace-filled appreciation of God’s people.
As we begin Lent, our lectionary readings serve as a wake up call to a deeper and more fervent pursuit of our Triune God.
