The lectionary appoints Psalm 65 for our national day of gratitude, and thus reminds of many ways in which we can recount the goodness of God.

Fr. Lenny’s Sermon – Proper 24 – 2017
In the lectionary this week, Psalm 96 equips us to counteract the grumpiness we fall prey to by spurring us to exclusive joy in our loving Lord!
Fr. Lenny’s Sermon – Fifth Sunday in Lent – 2017
As we wind down Lent and enter Holy Week, the lectionary presents readings to stoke our hearts’ flames with hope in anticipation of the resurrection! And that hope stirs us to genuinely pursue God’s call to care for people in body as much as soul, and to care for creation as much as people.
Fr. Lenny’s Sermon – Third Sunday in Advent – 2016
This week the lectionary has us rejoicing in the words of Psalm 146 (beginning with 4 in the Book of Common Prayer). In it we find a God whose creative actions, dependable character, compassion for the poor and outcast, intolerance for wicked ways, and boundless reign make him worthy of all the praise we can give! So rejoice this Gaudete Sunday! Again, I say, rejoice!

Playing a bit of catch up after a busy run from All Saints into Diocesan Convention to our our Election Day Spaghetti Dinner at the church. So here’s two sermons (plus links to the readings) for your spiritual edification. Blessings!
