Fr. Lenny’s Sermon – Last Sunday in Epiphany – 2017

On this last Sunday before Lent, the lectionary lessons remind us that Christ, the New Lawgiver, is the center of God’s revelation and plan to save the cosmos.  In other words, it’s not about “me;” it’s all about Jesus.

Ecumenical Service of Reconciliation – Presiding Bp. Michael Curry, speaker

This past Friday’s service of reconciliation with the Presiding Bishop was very inspiring!  A wonderful blend of liturgical and free church elements, plus a powerful message about reconciliation as a Gospel imperative.  Plus it was wonderful to have representatives from multiple Christian traditions participating.  The full service is recorded (with a brief pause while personal prayer groups were transpiring). Please forgive any sound quality issues or extraneous noises or comments in the congregation that might distract.

Fr. Lenny’s Sermon – Ecumenical Advent Service -2016

Our local ecumenical ministerium in Somerset holds weekly services on Wednesdays at noon during the seasons of Advent and Lent, and I was at bat today.  Using the Gospel lesson from Sunday, we looked at the life of Joseph and how we might know God’s will (hint: the Great Commandment).
